Adobe Illustrator with Bob Rondeau

After many years as a traditionally trained print designer, Bob migrated to computers in the 80s and has traded in his markers and pens for the digital tools of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and the various page building applications. He admits he only uses about one third the tool palette and doesn’t stay upgraded but he has a comfortable working knowledge of how to create functional images, photos and type for presentation, print, and web. Today Bob is “mostly retired” and is interested in passing on a few skills with a short Adobe Illustrator demo of basic pen skills, drawing/tracing silhouette paths, type design and page layout. Of this session, Bob says, “With the new role of the one stop graphic artist, we all spend too much time home alone - reinventing work-arounds. It would be best if this talk could evolve into a discussion with lots of participant experiences.” This event will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday Febuary 2nd, 2016, at Marlboro College Graduate Center, 2nd Floor, 28 Vernon Street, Brattleboro, VT. There is no fee for attendance. All are welcome to attend.
